My Bio

I am an Arizona native, born and raised in the small town of Marana. I grew up outside of Tucson until 18 when I left to attend Arizona State University, where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in History. Later, I attended University of Phoenix where I received my Master’s Degree in Secondary Education.

I live in Mesa with my two dogs, Penny and Scooter, and two cats, Mia and Tabby. I have taught school for 12 years now, always in social studies. I have a great love for history and my goal as an educator is to share my love of history with my students. I hope every student will find a passion for the past and I want to help them find it!

This is my seventh year at San Tan Charter School. Last year was such a great year and it was an amazing experience. I look forward to being a part of the new Power Campus Look forward to another fantastic year!
