Hello Power Campus!
Our school community has been amazing these past few weeks working together to make sure “the show must go on” as we have been dealing with staff and student illness. I am happy to report this week we are back to 100% of our staff on campus and our numbers of student absences are trending down. That being said, we have some work cut out for us making up for missed time in the classroom and need to ramp up our learning—so please be sure to work with your students to make up any assignments for time missed and remember that next week our math and English tutoring programs are starting.

Mark your calendars to attend our Spring Sports Parents Information Night February 2 at 5:30pm in the Power Campus Student Union
Winter Sports Senior Night
Join in the gym at 7pm on February 4th as the varsity soccer, girls basketball and boys basketball teams host senior night! Festivities start at 7pm and will include seven (7) seniors being recognized. Per tradition, stay after the game for an autograph session with this year’s seniors as they participate in the final winter sports home games of the season.
STEM Festival
Campus has been buzzing with students talking about their STEM Festival and Science Fair projects. Parents are invited to watch the events this year on campus or judge our science fair projects virtually. This year’s STEM competition features projects based on hydraulics, milk-plastic boats, archery, and water purification.
Friday, February 4
- 8:30am – High School STEM Festival on the Football Field
- 10:30am – Junior High STEM Festival on the Football Field
Science Fair Judges Needed
San Tan’s Annual Science Fair needs your help!
We are in need of at least 15 more volunteers to assist us in judging this years’ science fair projects. Judges will assess the student projects while the students present them. It is a great adventure to participate in the learning of our remarkable young scientists.
Our Science Fair will be virtual this year to meet the Arizona State Science Fair requirements. Students will present to a group of judges online in a Google Meet with a staff member present. Judging has never been easier!
When: Judging – Wednesday, February 2nd from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM

Athletics Family Pass
All High School games have a gate fee of $5 per adult and $3 per student/child. For your convenience, we will be offering Athletic Family Passes for the immediate and non-immediate families of our San Tan athletes. The options include $50 per season or $100 for the year. Tickets may be purchased for immediate family members (i.e., parents/guardians and siblings under 18). All other non-immediate family members (i.e., grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins, etc.) are also welcome to purchase a family pass for entrance into the games. Technology
San Tan Charter utilizes student laptops at the Power Campus. Each student needs a laptop to access school testing, classroom curriculum and more. Parents have the option of leasing technology from the school or supplying your own technology from a list of approved devices is on the Parent Portal page. Please be reminded there is a $250 annual lease fee for the school’s technology and a $50 annual donation for registering your family’s personal device. You can review the terms of our technology agreement here.
