 In Branding

Hello Power Campus!

Welcome to the start of second semester and to our new students who are joining us for the first time! For our new student families, feel free to reach out if you have campus-level questions.

Today and tomorrow we host our Winter Parent-Teacher Conferences—so thank you in advance for joining us. As you likely already know, parent involvement plays a significant role in our success and we thank you for the efforts you make given your busy lives and schedules.

Initial school-wide data from our MAP testing growth from Fall to Winter looked promising, but we will not become complacent with the status quo. In the weeks to come we will be inviting even more students to participate in our pandemic-recovery tutoring program to try and help make sure our students are reaching at or above grade-level competency. The goal this year is that 60% of our student population is back to grade-level competency.

That being said, let’s congratulate Ms. Kovach and our 11th and 12th English classes. Over 73% of all students were at or above grade-level! On the math side, 65.5% of Mr. Hermann’s 11th and 12th grades were a at or above grade-level, so we applaud and congratulate that group as well. We also showed great growth individually from the entire school, including students who participated in our tutoring program who far surpassed normal growth rates.  We have met our goal from Quarter 1 to Quarter 2 so far in English (62.1%) and are working towards reaching that goal in math.

In addition to academics, if you are looking to help improve the overall experience for San Tan Charter School students, here are just a few ways you can get involved:
