Hello Power Campus!
I hope you enjoyed your long weekend. This week we have our parent Love & Logic training happening at the Recker Campus and our ASVAB testing for selected sophomores, juniors and seniors at the Power Campus. San Tan Charter School uses ASVAB information for families and students and does not submit scores directly to the military. For those interested in joining the military, families can request those scores to be shared.
Coming up next week, we have picture retakes happening January 25th. Dorian Studio will be here between 8:30am-10:30am for those interested in picture retakes, and those that missed Fall photos. Please send your kiddo(s) dressed to impress if you plan on getting retakes done.
Enrollment Information
Enrollment is moving quickly for the 2023-24 school year! FIRST PRIORITY for selecting 2023-24 electives, will be given to families who enroll on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to complete your enrollment quickly.
REMINDER: This year all students can be re-enrolled online.
While phone apps are convenient for most things – we recommend using a computer to complete your re-enrollment at San Tan Charter.
Please Log into your Parent Portal. Go to “More” and then “Online Registration.”

Love and Logic Classes
San Tan is proud to have all staff trained yearly in the 9 Essential Skills of Love & Logic! Larry and Kami Kerby, independent facilitators of Love and Logic Parenting Classes (and San Tan’s PreK-12 Love and Logic Trainers and Coaches) are offering two free introductory classes for our San Tan Community. The first class is coming up next Thursday, January 18th, at the Recker campus cafeteria from 8:45-9:45am and an evening class on Jan. 18th-the same day from 6:00-7:00pm.

Science Fair Volunteers
We Need Your Help! The Science Fair is almost upon us and we have over 200 projects going into this year’s fair. San Tan Charter is in need of 60+ volunteers to help judge our projects. No experience necessary. Judging takes place on February 1st, from 4 to 5pm. The fair will open to the public at 5pm. Awards will be given on Friday the 4th at the STEM Festival.

Honk! Tickets
Our STCS Performing Arts students are excited for the upcoming performances! Tickets are selling quickly for our winter theater production of, Honk! Tax Credit Giving
San Tan Charter is well on its way of reaching our goal of $100,000.00. To continue with this gracious giving, please read below as there is still time to donate.

With your support, we can continue to provide the programs outlined below:
- Junior High and High School Culinary Arts: Restaurant quality cutlery, pots/pans, additional shelving, and supplies for the classroom
- Full-Day Kindergarten Scholarship
- Funding for the Library/Media Space
- Health Care Supplies
- Playground Equipment
In addition, our Montessori Preschool School gives out around $45,000.00 a year in scholarship to those families in need, we are able to offer these scholarships because of the Arizona School tax credit program. The best part is whatever you contribute, you will receive dollar for dollar back on your state taxes. So, if you give $100, you can deduct that $100 off what you owe in taxes. You do not have to have a child at the school to pledge, you must only be an AZ State resident paying AZ State taxes.
