Welcome to Homecoming Week, 2023!
Join us for the festivities this Friday, Oct. 13, at the Homecoming Parade (Map Attached). Our Homecoming tailgate event will start that evening on campus at 5:30pm and we have volleyball in action inside the gym starting at 5pm.
Make sure to have your students on time to school this Friday, as we will transport all students to the Recker Campus for the parade. Students who are late to school may miss the busses, and we don’t want that!

Come and party Homecoming style at the tailgate! The culinary has an amazing BBQ dinner they are preparing, and expect to be entertained with live roping, pony rides, a dunk tank, cornhole tournament, music! The party starts at 5:30pm on Roadrunner Way, next to the football field.

“Country Thunder” is our homecoming dance for both junior high and high school students this Saturday, Oct. 14! Student Council has planned for a fun evening of events, including a live DJ, axe throwing, selfie station and BBQ food truck serving all students (meal included in the ticket price)!

There is a $10 DISCOUNT per ticket for purchasing tickets in cash at school. Tickets are being sold at lunch!
All guest forms must be completed in full and turned into the STCS front office by Friday, Oct. 13. No guests will be allowed at our dance without this signed and completed form.

Winter Sports Information Night
The STCS Athletic Department will be hosting a Winter Sports Information Night on Wednesday, October 11th at 5:30pm in the Power Green Gym. This will provide you the opportunity to meet our winter coaches and ask any questions you may have regarding our sports programs.

Student Academic Expectations and Accountability
Everything related to school policy can be found in our student handbook. Please take the time to go over the handbook with your students. The handbook also includes our dress code policy.

Technology
School technology is limited to the use of Chromebooks. If your student is using a device that has not been approved, it may lead to invalidated work and our inability to protect your child from secured browsing. Please make sure that you have secured the proper device for our 1:1 technology policy on campus.
San Tan Charter utilizes student laptops to access curriculum for many of the classes at the Power Campus. Please be reminded there is a $250 annual lease for a school device and a $50 annual fee for registering a personal device. If families choose to bring their own device, please be sure your Chromebook is compatible with the network by using the Approved Technology List and please be mindful that all student owned Chromebooks will need to be secured on our Google Enterprise for Education.
