Hello Power Campus!
We have some special events coming up as a community, starting this Saturday in the Gilbert Days Parade. Starting at 8:30am, San Tan Charter will be represented in the parade, which will head south on Gilbert Road from Juniper Avenue to the Gilbert Public Schools District Office. The parade is expected to finish at 10:30am—come join us for a fun weekend celebration of the school.
Also, join us again on campus for our Junior National Honor Society (NJHS) and National Honor Society (NHS) induction ceremony on Monday, Nov. 21. The ceremony starts at 6pm with 53 new students being inducted this year!
Help San Tan Charter put its best foot forward with Winter MAP Testing. Students will begin testing in their math and English classes starting on Monday after the holiday break. The reading and math MAP tests are used not only to check our progress on our yearly learning goals, but is a powerful tool to help our teachers know when tutoring is needed or how to assist specific students in their learning. Please have your kids prepared upon their return from break to give their best efforts on the tests.
Charlie Brown Thanksgiving
Celebrate the holiday with the STCS on Wednesday, November 23, as our culinary department delivers another a great Thanksgiving dinner. Families will be welcome on campus starting at 11am for the early release day and enjoy fellowship and food with the San Tan family. If you are planning to attend this year, please enter the main office when entering campus. We look forward to seeing you there!

Gifted Testing
San Tan’s annual Gifted Testing event is approaching quickly!
If you are interested in having your child tested for giftedness, please complete the digital Parent Request Form, along with the $50 Co-Pay, linked below. Gifted testing is will be offered in mid-February. Once a child is identified as gifted, they do not need to retest.

Food and Toy Drive
The Power Campus is hosting a Food and Toy Drive from November 7 through Nov. 22. In the spirit of giving, we would appreciate it if you would consider donating on campus with the United Food Bank, which has been able to provide solid ground to thousands of families every week during the pandemic and economic crisis. Roadrunner Families please join us in assisting United Food Bank to continue making a difference in our Arizona families’ lives.
