Hello Power Campus!
Here we are just days before Christmas Break! We have had a jam-packed first semester with highlights that include our senior class surpassing the $1 million mark in earned scholarships, watching our MAP scores continue to grow with the help of our new curriculum and tutoring programs, and in building and expanding upon our already successful extra-curricular offerings in sports, the arts, culinary, and more.
During this Christmas season, I want to remind everyone to help us continue on our path to remain the Best Small School in the East Valley and to consider a donation to the school. Starting on Monday, winter office hours during school break are from 9am – 3pm and offices will be closed on Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.
Re-enrollment Information:
Re-enrollment is upon us! This year we re-introduced paper packets and the Online Registration forms through Infinite Campus. Follow these steps for re-enrolling your students:

Winter Parent-Teacher Conferences
When: 1/4/22 (Tuesday) & 1/5/22 (Wednesday)
Where: Power Campus – Student Union

Conferences are organized in 90-minute blocks with the average conference time lasting 10 minutes. Please select the time block that is most convenient for your family, then select the teachers you would like to conference with before selecting “submit”.
Families will meet in the student union during their scheduled time block and wait for their teacher(s) to come and meet them for their appointment. This format allows families to move through all conferences with the least amount of wait time.
School Year 2022-23 Grade Level Trips
Last night was our first meeting with parents for next year’s 8th and 12th grade graduation trips. With advanced planning and in-school fundraising opportunities on the horizon, we are looking to build community and life-long experiences for our kids who attend San Tan Charter.

COVID Procedures
With the winter season upon us, just a quick reminder of our COVID procedures. If there is a positive COVID case within your household, please keep your students’ home and contact the school. We are doing our best to keep everyone healthy, so please notify us if anyone in your household tests positive.

Gifted Testing
If you are interested in having your child tested for giftedness, please complete the digital Parent Request Form, along with the $50 Co-Pay, linked below. Gifted testing is will be offered in mid. February. Once a child is identified as gifted, they do not need to retest. Gifted testing will begin in mid- February.
- If your child is currently in a gifted class and identified as ‘provisional’ they will automatically be retested, you do not need to send in the recommendation form. : -)
- Gifted Testing Requests are due no later than January 12th of 2022.

Athletics Family Pass
All High School games have a gate fee of $5 per adult and $3 per student/child. For your convenience, we will be offering Athletic Family Passes for the immediate and non-immediate families of our San Tan athletes. The options include $50 per season or $100 for the year. Tickets may be purchased for immediate family members (i.e., parents/guardians and siblings under 18). All other non-immediate family members (i.e., grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins, etc.) are also welcome to purchase a family pass for entrance into the games. Technology
San Tan Charter utilizes student laptops at the Power Campus. Each student needs a laptop to access school testing, classroom curriculum and more. Parents have the option of leasing technology from the school or supplying your own technology from a list of approved devices is on the Parent Portal page. Please be reminded there is a $250 annual lease fee for the school’s technology and a $50 annual fee for registering your family’s personal device.
