As MAP testing is coming to an end, it has been SO COOL to see our students’ commitment and hard work! Every day students talk to me about their scores, and we are seeing some remarkable growth in our students. Thank you to those families who continue to help improve our school by engaging your students in the “productive struggle” of working hard, being committed, and being engaged in their school and education.

Enrollment Information
Tt is RE-ENROLLMENT season for the 2023-24 school year. This year all students can be re-enrolled online—it is SO EASY!

This year, we have gone to completely ONLINE registration! No more paper packets!! While the phone app is convenient for most things – we recommend using a computer to complete re-enrollment.
Please Log into your Parent Portal. Go to “More” and then “Online Registration.”

Winter Parent-Teacher Conferences
Welcome to our Power Campus Winter Conferences! Conferences are organized in 90-minute blocks with the average conference time lasting 10 minutes. Please select the time block that is most convenient for your family and select the teachers you would like to conference with before selecting “submit”.
Families will meet in the student union during their scheduled time block and wait for their teacher(s) to come and meet them for their appointment. This format allows families to move through all conferences with the least amount of wait time.

Tax Credit Giving
This year’s tax credit giving goal is $100,000.00. Your gift — large or small — will make a difference.

With your support, we can continue to provide the programs outlined below:
- Junior High and High School Culinary Arts: Restaurant quality cutlery, pots/pans, additional shelving, and supplies for the classroom
- Full-Day Kindergarten Scholarship
- Funding for the Library/Media Space
- Health Care Supplies
- Playground Equipment
In addition, our Montessori Preschool School gives out around $45,000.00 a year in scholarship to those families in need, we are able to offer these scholarships because of the Arizona School tax credit program. The best part is whatever you contribute, you will receive dollar for dollar back on your state taxes. So, if you give $100, you can deduct that $100 off what you owe in taxes. You do not have to have a child at the school to pledge, you must only be an AZ State resident paying AZ State taxes.

Gifted Testing
If you are interested in having your child tested for giftedness, please complete the digital Parent Request Form, along with the $50 Co-Pay, linked below. Gifted testing is will be offered in mid. February. Once a child is identified as gifted, they do not need to retest.
- If your child is currently in a gifted class and identified as ‘provisional’ they will automatically be retested, you do not need to send in the recommendation form.
- Gifted Testing Requests are due no later than January 12th of 2023.

Paper Drive
The Power Campus paper drive is going very well! Thank you to the families who are supporting the cause. Remember the top teacher who receives the most paper donations will receive a $100 award for their classroom!
