Hello Power Campus!
Over the next two weeks San Tan Charter School is testing students for giftedness and just last week we were sponsors of the annual conference for the Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented students. Our school maintains a great reputation in the gifted community here in Arizona and has been a premiere destination for gifted students and families in the East Valley through our self-contained gifted classrooms in the elementary and our JH Scholars Prep courses and AP/Honors and Dual Enrollment and electives at the Power campus.
Reminder this Monday, Feb. 21, there will be no school in recognition of President’s Day.
We have exciting news to share in that our high school varsity boys basketball team made it to the Arizona Interscholastic Activities (AIA) 2A State Basketball tournament. Coach Crooms’ team finished with the #7 ranking and plays the #10-ranked team in first round action this Friday in the Prescott area. Locations and game time for tournament games have not yet been announced, but you can follow our athletics Instagram or Twitter account @stcs_athletics for the latest breaking news and information about the state tournament.
Many classes are nearing capacity for next year as we have opened enrollment for new students. DO NOT LOSE your opportunity to re-enroll by being placed on a waiting list! If you are planning on re-enrolling, please do so immediately!

Winter Sports Awards Ceremony
Join us in the Main Gym on Tuesday, Feb. 22, as we celebrate and recognize our Winter Sports athletes. The event starts at 5:30pm with the junior high awards and then again at 6:30pm for the high school awards!

Over the years we have traveled… from A Night in Paris, to An Evening in Atlantis, to A Special Night Under the Stars… and now we take you on a magnificent adventure to celebrate our annual Montessori Fundraiser Gala with:

Technology
San Tan Charter utilizes student laptops at the Power Campus. Each student needs a laptop to access school testing, classroom curriculum and more. Parents have the option of leasing technology from the school or supplying your own technology from a list of approved devices is on the Parent Portal page. Please be reminded there is a $250 annual lease fee for the school’s technology and a $50 annual donation for registering your family’s personal device. You can review the terms of our technology agreement here.
