Hello Power Campus!
As we inch closer back to the start of school, we will welcome staff back to campus this week for professional development training. Tomorrow kicks off our first day as we welcome in new staff to attend our full-day “Love and Logic” training for new teachers. On Wednesday, our entire staff community from both campuses will be together for the first time this school year to get the year kicked off.
Below is some important information and to-dos regarding the upcoming year. Please be on the lookout for more information in the weeks to come with my weekly principal’s emails. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of your summer!

- MAIN EVENT MEET AND GREET: On July 19 (JH only) and July 20 (HS only) from 3pm – 7pm, join us for a meet and greet event at Main Event, located at 1735 S. Santan Village Parkway in Gilbert. The cost of admission is $25 and students will receive their class schedules at that time. The cost includes 4 hours of bowling, billiards, laser tag, gravity ropes, a $10 Fun Card and 2 slices of pizza and a medium soft drink for each guest. Please click here to register your student!
- OPEN HOUSE: On July 21 from 3pm-8pm, walk your student’s class schedule, pick-up your pre-ordered school supplies, and meet your teachers at the Power Campus Open House. Scheduled times for Open House is as follows, with a welcome presentation at the top of the hour in the student union from myself and a fall sports information session starting the last 15 minutes before the hour in the auxiliary gym with our athletic director.

22/23 School Supplies
If you pre-ordered your school supplies through the Gifted Program, your items will be delivered and available at our Open House.

Athletics News/PE Uniforms
Sports Registration is underway. Ms. Roanhorse will be giving details on the upcoming seasons at our open house event. In the meantime, register your students for sports by following this link: San Tan Sports Registration 2022-2023. Student-athletes will be able to practice and compete in games once complete registration and payment has been made.

Schedules
Students will be able to access their class schedules in 3 different ways:
- Main Event Socials – Schedules will be printed and available at the Main Event socials.
- Open House / Meet the Teacher – Schedules will be printed and available at Open House. Open house will have 4 different sessions where families can come down, walk the campus and meet their teachers. Students will also have the option to change their schedule, if needed.
- Sessions; 3:00-4:00, 4:00-5:00; 6:00-7:00; 7:00-8:00. Note: we will be closed from 5:00 to 6:00pm for teacher dinner.
- Infinite Campus – Schedules will be viewable in Infinite Campus
- New Parents – You will receive an email with instructions to sign into Infinite Campus about a week before school starts.

Schedule Changes
Students can change their schedules within the first 10 days of school. Schedule changes will be available at school, Main Event Socials, and Open House.

Technology
Students have a couple options for technology. They can rent a Chromebook from San Tan or bring their own device. If families choose to bring their own device, please be sure your Chromebook is compatible with the network by using the Approved Technology List and please be mindful that all student owned Chromebooks will need to be secured on our Google Enterprise for Education.
