Hello Power Campus!
Here we are just a week away until the first day of school! Our teachers have been back at it over the past week, dedicated to pursuing our high-level academic goals on campus while working to welcome back students in that special San Tan way. Our school this year has again been blessed with a wealth of talented and committed faculty members to deliver exciting new additions to the curriculum and who are dreaming up new ways to build on our school’s successful programs.

HOT LUNCH OPTIONS
Both our Recker and Power Campuses partner with My Hot Lunchbox for a hot lunch option for kids. In addition to My Hot Lunchbox, families are welcome to bring food from home and use our student union microwaves or the school’s vending machines as lunch options. Remember we are a low sugar and nut free campus!
Power Campus’ weekly My Hot Lunchbox schedule:
Monday: Jason’s Deli
Tuesday: Streets of New York
Wednesday: Subway
Thursday: Boca Taqueria
Friday: Panda Express
1st time user – Select “Create an Account” to be redirected to the Parent Sign Up page.

- OPEN HOUSE: On July 26 from 3pm-8pm, walk your student’s class schedule, pick-up your pre-ordered school supplies and meet your teachers at the Power Campus Open House event. Scheduled times for school open houses are as follows:

Technology
San Tan Charter utilizes student laptops to access curriculum for many of the classes at the Power Campus. Parents of students have the option of leasing that technology from the school or supplying its own technology from the list of approved devices is on the Parent Portal page on the school website. Please be reminded there is a $250 annual lease fee for technology and a $50 annual fee for registering a personal device.

21/22 School Supplies
If you pre-ordered school supplies through the Gifted Program, your items will be delivered and available at our Open House on Monday, July 26.
Athletics News
Open registration for the 2021-22 sports seasons will be available soon, but please note the following important news regarding athletics:
- Sports Offering Survey: If you have not had an opportunity to complete our sports survey, we need your input to help determine which sports and staffing is needed for the 2021-22 school year. Please click here to provide your feedback. [YOU DO NOT need to complete the form again if you have filled it out already].
Looking to work at San Tan?
San Tan Charter is looking to hire at the Recker Campus for a front office assistant, the Power Campus is looking for a full-time janitor and across campuses San Tan is always hiring for Guest Teachers. Please call 480-222-0811 for more information.
International Travel Opportunity
STCS is going to Europe! Join our school on the WWII in England and France trip. Students can earn college credit, experience new cultures and more! While this trip is open to all students grades 5-12, we do require any 5th– 7th graders traveling to have a parent chaperone with them but strongly encourage other parents to attend!
