Hello Power Campus!
Drive-lane… Schedule changes… Lunch time procedures and course syllabi… CHECK!
Whew! We survived our first day of school with great energy from students and staff. Needless to say, it was great to see all our students back on campus. Thank you to all the parents and families who helped make today a special day for our kids by getting them prepared and ready. AND thank you for your patience and assistance with our traffic flow through drive-lane.
Big, BIG NEWS… This Friday is our all-school fundraiser PEP ASSEMBLY.
At our assembly, students will learn about fundraising opportunities for our teacher’s and coaches’ programs, events, and school-wide improvements. Our goal is to help create the Best Small School Experience in the East Valley by having our kids work hard for their school. During the event, students will select a team (teachers/program) they want to help fundraise for and sign-up on our online platform to help raise capital for their school wish-lists.
After the assembly, students will work with their families to fill out a contact list of who to ask to help with donations. On Aug. 3, the school will compete in an all-out, telephone/text message BLITZ to reach out to contacts to kick off our two-week fundraiser. The goal is to make this a one-time, fundraising event for the entire school year!
Significant cash prizes will be awarded to our top fundraising student, highest earning team/program, and highest earning student per grade level. In addition, any student who raises $250 for their program will receive a raffle ticket to earn tickets to Superbowl LVIII in Las Vegas! Plus, every individual donor can earn a Superbowl raffle ticket per $50 donation.
Fall Sports Kickoff
Join us on campus for our Fall Sports Kickoff August 17th starting at 4:00pm! There will be food, music, yard games, and a bounce house! Come support our roadrunner athletes during our volleyball Green and Gold game staring at 4:30 in the main gym and stay for our varsity football game vs. Scottsdale Christian at 7:00pm. Students wearing San Tan Charter gear get into the volleyball and football game for free.
MAP Testing
Our annual Fall MAP testing starts on Monday. Make sure all students are well rested and performing their best on the test, as these scores provide the school information for proper course placement. MAP testing occurs three times per school year in the fall, winter, and spring.
