Home Football Game – Blackout
This Friday at 7pm our Roadrunners are back in action on campus. This week’s theme is a BLACKOUT! Coach Chase’s boys will be dressed in their all-black uniforms for a matchup with Tanque Verde. All students wearing black to the game earn free entry. The culinary team will be on point with a new menu for the week, and join us after the game at the Brass Tap at 2442 S. Recker Road in Gilbert, where 25% of sales from 9pm – 12pm will be donated back to the school!
All-School Fundraiser
The all-school fundraiser closed last week with over $62,000 raised! Thank you to all the families and participants who are helping to raise our school to the next level. I will be sending out information on our new program upgrades and additions in the weeks to come!
Achievement Exams
Looking to sign up your students for SAT college prep and achievement exams? San Tan Charter will host the following assessments on campus:

PSAT 8/9 – $20 Test Date: 10/20/2023
The PSAT 8/9 is available for current 8th- and 9th-grade students. PSAT 8/9 sets a readiness baseline and is the first assessment in the SAT Suite of Assessments.
PSATNMSQT – $20 Test Date: 10/19/2023
The PSAT 10 is available for current 10th-grade students in the spring. PSAT 10 serves as a check-in on progress and covers the same content areas as the PSAT/NMSQT.
SAT – $60 Test Date: 10/26/2023
The SAT is available for current 11th & 12th-grade students for the Fall testing session.
*12th grade is temporarily missing from the form. Choose 11th grade until the form is updated.

Parent/Teacher Conferences
When: September 21 & 22
Conferences are organized in 90-minute blocks with the average conference time lasting 10 minutes. Please select the time block that is most convenient for your family and select the teachers you would like to conference with before selecting “submit”.
Families will meet in the student union during their scheduled time block and wait for their teacher(s) to come and meet them for their appointment. This format allows families to move through all conferences with the least amount of wait time.

Technology
San Tan Charter utilizes student laptops to access curriculum for many of the classes at the Power Campus. Please be reminded there is a $250 annual lease for a school device and a $50 annual fee for registering a personal device. If families choose to bring their own device, please be sure your Chromebook is compatible with the network by using the Approved Technology List and please be mindful that all student owned Chromebooks will need to be secured on our Google Enterprise for Education.
