Hello Power Campus!

Academic Achievement is tops on our list with MAP testing on campus for both Math and English this week.

San Tan Charter is dedicated to help each student reach his/her potential. If your child(ren) struggled with learning during the pandemic or fell behind academically over the past year and a half, trust that we are working to re-capture what was lost. That means this year’s MAP testing is ever-important as an indicator of where students are at academically. The test provides teachers detailed information on which students’ academic needs have been met.

San Tan Charter is now 1:1 technology (student laptops) for both JH and HS students this school year to help differentiate curriculum to personalized levels. The State of Arizona and San Tan Charter School also raised the bar and adopted the ACT Test as the state accountability exam. Over the summer, San Tan responded and provided training to its teachers who are now official ACT-Certified Educators.

We feel an ethical and moral obligation to help our students reach grade-level achievement, so please stand with us as we find new ways to help our students succeed!

Technology

As mentioned, San Tan Charter utilizes student laptops at the Power Campus. Each student will need a laptop to access school testing, classroom curriculum and more. Parents have the option of leasing technology from the school or supplying your own technology from a list of approved devices is on the Parent Portal page. Please be reminded there is a $250 annual lease fee for the school’s technology and a $50 annual fee for registering your family’s personal device.
