Here we go – it’s the last week of quarter 1! Don’t forget that the rest of the week we are on half day schedules with parent-teacher conferences on Thursday and Friday.

As we move into Fall Break, please enjoy the time off with your students and prepare your kids for the increased expectations of 2nd quarter. In order to meet our 2022-23 school year goal of 70% of STCS students meeting or exceeding grade-level standards, we will be re-focusing our efforts on increased learning in the classroom as we prepare for our Winter MAP testing.
As we raise our standards not only in academics but in all the work we do on campus, let us also remember our iLead values of integrity, Love, empathy, accountability and dedication. If we follow these ideals in all of our decisions, we will be successful.
Homecoming Parade / Game
Join us for the 2022 Homecoming Parade this Friday at 9am in the Morrison Ranch community. Below you will find a map of the parade route, which moves through the Recker Campus. If you are driving to the parade, please park your vehicles on the side streets close to the parade route. Bring your own seating or blanket and enjoy the show!
- Green is the Float staging area/student drop-off center
- Yellow is the parade route
- Red lines are where the floats will take a pause/stop to cheer
- Blue is where the Gilbert police will block off the road
- Student spectators will be in the grassy area along Highland Glen & Recker campus parking lot
The Friday Night football game verses Coronado will be a “Theme of Green”. Come dressed in your San Tan Charter green and receive a $1 off of your tickets.
There will be special guests at the Homecoming game and join us for halftime for the announcement of the 2022 Homecoming Royalty. The event is not to be missed!
Homecoming Dance
San Tan Charter hosts its 2022 Homecoming Dance on campus on Saturday, Sept. 24. The Junior High Dance will be from 4-6pm followed by the High School dance from 7-10pm.

Parent-Teacher Conference Dinner Donations
Our Fall Late-night Parent Teacher Conference will be held on Thursday September 22nd and would greatly appreciate donations for dinner. Our teachers and staff will be here all day and night and love your kindness and amazing dinners! The theme is “Italian”! Please help us in providing some meals and desserts that may not require the use of an oven and delivered by Thursday September 22nd at 3:45pm to the Power Campus Front Office.

Student Technology
San Tan Charter utilizes student laptops to access curriculum for the majority classes at the Power Campus. Many families have not yet paid to lease a school device or register their personal device. This week administration is reconciling all technology and if students are still without devices, will receive a call home for payment for lease or to have their device secured on our Google Enterprise for Education.
Thank you to all our families who have been proactive in paying for the school laptop lease or registration. If you have not yet done so, please make that payment to avoid a call home or to have personal devices held until registration is complete.
