Hello Power Campus!
I hope everyone is enjoying the start to their Fall Break. Homecoming Week is on tap the week we return to campus. In addition to homecoming, we start with three half day schedules and our parent-teacher conferences. Please click here to set-up your time for conferences.
Make sure to plan out your Homecoming Week with the following Spirit Days:
Monday: “Monday Binge Night” Comfy Clothing
Tuesday: “Trillionaire Tuesday” Fancy/Dress-up as a Trillionaire
Wednesday: “Athlete Vs. Mathlete Wednesday” Dress as an athlete or a scholar
Thursday: “Hippie Thursday” Throwing it back to the 60s/70s
Friday: “Hawaiian/Beachy”
The Homecoming Dance is on Saturday, October 16. It is a semi-formal evening with a Netflix/Hollywood theme. Tickets are $35 for couples and $25 for a single pass, and the dance will be held from 7-10pm at the Power Campus. This year we are also extending the dance to host our Junior High students and there will be a separate JH dance from 4-6pm. Ticket prices for the JH dance are $10 for a single pass and $15 for a “Buddy Pass”. Prices will go up by $5 the week after break.
Certification Courses
San Tan Charter School is now offering onsite Babysitting/First Aid/CPR/Blood Borne Pathogens Certification Courses onsite at the Recker campus taught by our Nurse Marty Stevens in partnership Cross lifeline training. Our first classes Tuesday October 10th at 10:00 am the babysitting course will be offered in the Recker campus library. The $35 fee includes all books, materials, and certification card. We will also will be offering a CPR, AED, and Bloodborne Pathogens class on Saturday October 9th at 10AM. The $25 fee includes the online portion that must be completed prior to the two hour, in-person session on Saturday October 9th. Athletics Family Pass
All High School games have a gate fee of $5 per adult and $3 per student/child. For your convenience, we will be offering Athletic Family Passes for the immediate and non-immediate families of our San Tan Athletes. The options include $50 per season or $100 for the year. Tickets may be purchased for immediate family members (i.e., parents/guardians and siblings under 18). All other non-immediate family members (i.e., grandparents, aunts/uncles, cousins, etc.) are also welcome to purchase a family pass for entrance into the games. Technology
San Tan Charter utilizes student laptops at the Power Campus. Each student needs a laptop to access school testing, classroom curriculum and more. Parents have the option of leasing technology from the school or supplying your own technology from a list of approved devices is on the Parent Portal page. Please be reminded there is a $250 annual lease fee for the school’s technology and a $50 annual fee for registering your family’s personal device.
